May I introduce W.S. Adamson and Associates?

In my capacity as Director of Government and Public Affairs for Kennecott Utah Copper Corporation, I rely heavily on the professional services of Adamson and Associates for a broad range of projects and assignments.

A very close, almost "family" relationship has existed between Adamson and Kennecott for 52 years, so I depend on the historical knowledge of the staff to provide me with assistance on numerous projects, especially as Kennecott approaches its Centennial Year in 2003.

Their expertise, combined with the Kennecott document, photo, film and video archives that they maintain for us makes Adamson invaluable.

Because the Adamson staff is knowledgeable about the technical aspects of mining and copper production, my assignments to them, are interpreted accurately and technical information is converted into understandable layman's language for such projects as brochures, exhibits and other public presentations.

An excellent example of the staffs communications skills is found in the award-winning Bingham Canyon Mine Visitors Center, which their team and I created beginning in 1991. I will get an idea for a new exhibit and turn it over to Adamson's expert writers and graphics designer for proper interpretation that results in a display that clearly communicates with young and old alike, and with non-English speaking visitors as well.

As with most mining companies, the government and public affairs budget has been slashed in recent years, along with in-house staff. So, the Adamson Team serves as an important extension of my department, filling myriad assignments on my behalf.

I have never known them to miss a deadline, and they always meet the tight budget limitations.

There is much more I could write about W.S. Adamson and Associates, but suffice it to say that you can count on the Adamson staff for the highest professionalism conducted ethically and with integrity.

I am proud to say that the Adamson Team is my team.
Sincerely,
