BRUCE D. WHITEHEAD, President and owner joined
the firm in 1966 as writer and producer of a weekly television
program for Kennecott, the firm's major client since 1950. He
became a vice president in 1968 and a partner and president in
1984. In 1989, he acquired ownership of the firm upon the
retirement of Mrs. W.S. Adamson.
Mr. Whitehead came to the agency
after 20 years in radio and television as an on-air
personality, producer and director in Illinois, Idaho and
Utah, and 18 months as network chief announcer for the Blue
Danube Network of the Armed Forces Radio Service in
Austria.
For more than 33 years, he has
managed and supervised the public relations, public affairs
and general communications projects of a wide variety of
clients and has represented the Utah and Intermountain
interests of numerous national clients.
He has developed
special expertise in the natural resources field including
mining and oil and gas production and environmental and
regulatory issues. He also manages financial public and
investor relations, and has managed the marketing and
advertising of hotel/casino operations in Nevada, retail
advertising and political campaigns.
Mr. Whitehead graduated in 1951 from Quincy University in Illinois with a Bachelor degree in communications. He is a past president of the Intermountain Chapter, Public Relations Society of America, is a Director of the Utah Mining Association and a member of the Utah Section, Society of Mining Engineers and the Northwest Mining Association. In 2004 he received the prestigious Utah Mining Association Patrick Conner Award for Outstanding Service to the mining industry.

PATRICK A. THOMAS, Vice President, joined the
firm in 1989 after 18 years of diversified advertising, public
relations and communications experience.
For four years prior to joining
Adamson and Associates, he held positions with two Salt Lake
City-based agencies and from 1978 to 1984, Mr. Thomas was
Manager of Corporate Communications for Northwest Energy
Company in Salt Lake City. During part of that time, he
managed the operations of Northwest-owned radio stations KWHO
AM/FM.
In 1970, he left the University
of Utah School of Journalism to move to New York City, where
he became a reporter and editor for Crain Communications
before joining Carl Byoir & Associates public relations as
an associate account executive. In Washington, D.C., he was
Director of Communications with the United Mine Workers of
America Health and Retirement Funds.
Mr. Thomas manages
client public relations, public affairs and environmental
affairs work, in addition to assisting the president in all
other client work.

SUE S. MARTIN, Special Consultant. Following a
20-year career in corporate public relations with Amtrak, she
left that firm as Senior Director, Public Affairs in the
summer of 1995 when her husband relocated to Salt Lake
City.
For Adamson and Associates, she
has carried the lead position for our client Private Fuel
Storage, a consortium of utility companies planning to develop
a temporary storage facility in Utah for spent nuclear fuel
rods. She provides public relations, public affairs and
community relations support services for other selected
clients. Ms. Martin is also a trained facilitator, using her
special skills in a variety of corporate situations for
national clients.
Her Amtrak career included Senior
Director, Corporate Communications; Director of Special
Events; Manager, Public Information; Special Representative,
Public Affairs and Administrative Positions, and Public
Affairs. Ms. Martin continues to provide special consultation
for Amtrak.
Ms. Martin graduated from
American University in Washington, D.C. in 1969 with a BA in
Public Relations, and received her MA in 1971 and a graduate
Certificate in 1980.

LYNNE WINSOR, Administrative Manager and Corporate
Secretary/Treasurer, coordinates the day-to-day operations
of the office, including the accounting duties and computer
services. She also assists other staff members with their
varied projects and thus is involved in the work of all
clients. A Utah native, she received a Master of Fine Arts
Degree from Utah State University in 1970 and subsequent
teaching certificates in Art and Mathematics.

ISAAC JOHNSON, Technical Assistant and
Archivist. Mr. Johnson trouble-shoots and maintains the
company's computer network.
For selected clients, he monitors
and records radio news and interview broadcasts for legal and
file documentation, and produces dubs for distribution to
client officials. He also produces multiple dubs of television
news and interview programs for distribution to client
officials.
Mr. Johnson also maintains film
and video archives dating to the 1960s, which are housed in
the Adamson offices for Kennecott Utah Copper, and for other
high-visibility clients that generate media
attention.
He is also responsible for
maintaining and installing client information booths at
conventions, business expositions and fairs, where he also
represents clients.

DAVID JENNINGS, Photographer, Videographer and Video
Producer, has worked with Adamson and Associates since
1990. His scope of work since 1968 has included
television production work at KUED-PBS, and video journalism
at KTVX-ABC, both in Salt Lake City; high school vocational
education in television production, and co-owner and owner of
his own video production and photography
companies.
His assignments for Adamson have
included projects for Kennecott Utah Copper Corporation,
Private Fuel Storage, Kennecott Energy Company, Kennecott
Minerals Company, Kennecott Corporation, the Utah Mining
Association, Wasatch Energy Systems, OMG Apex, Inc. and AGC
America's Gold.
As an independent producer, Mr.
Jennings has covered assignments for Salt Lake County, the
U.S. Forest Service, the Utah Education Association, U.S.
Bureau of Reclamation, Hansen Planetarium, Utah Medical and
numerous employee and Health, Safety and Environmental Quality
productions.
A veteran of the U.S. Navy, he
attended the University of Utah and Westminster College and is
an accomplished pianist and guitarist.

RON CHRISTENSEN, Graphic Designer, has worked
with the agency since 1976 when he became the Creative
Director. Since 1985, he has continued to provide a wide range
of creative graphic services, including exhibits and displays,
and the construction of high-detail scale models on a
freelance basis.
His creative and artistic talents
for the agency include the design and construction of
exhibits, displays and dioramas in the Bingham Canyon Mine
Visitors Center, the U.S. Borax Visitors Center at Boron,
California, the Oquirrh Mountain Mining Visitor Center and the
Utah Mining Association exhibit in the Utah State
Capitol.
In addition, he has designed and produced
dozens of corporate brochures and other varied printed pieces.
Mr. Christensen also designs and constructs special projects,
such as parade floats and decorations for client special
events, such as Open Houses and Anniversary
celebrations.
